Kanye had great timing with his new single Power. For one, it’s time he made some music instead of just stumbling around award shows. For another, it led me to listen to this King Crimson song he sampled, and for some reason I was in the mood for a prog rock morning.
First single from the new album Good Ass Job. Kanye seemed to have melded all eras of his music into one. Glad he’s still giving in to his vanguard tendencies, with this weird sample. This gives me a warm feeling: maybe his best album is yet to come.

New Drake single produced by Kanye West. He had to bring the R&B flavour eventually, though I’m a little surprised by how 808s and Heartbreaks it sounds.
